Contains a collection of documents related to Crew's military service. Includes a reproduction of the Japanese surrender documents, citations given to Crew by his commanding officers, and original poetry composed for a military newsletter. Also includes information concerning his submarine, the U.S.S. Tunny₁official citations, photographs, newspaper articles, and a lengthy history of the ship. Additional photographs show Crew with his family, in military dress, and at later military reunions. Contains a document written by Doris Crew, Crew's wife, expressing her views on freedom and religion.
